Headquartered in Morgan Hill, CA, Sakata Seed America, Inc. was established in 1977 and is home to Sales & Marketing as well as Product Development for the US business. In addition to flower seed and vegetative activities, Morgan Hill is also home to a thriving vegetable seeds business.
Sakata America's flower research facilities include the California Research Station and Elite Propagation Facility in Salinas, CA.
Many of the flower activities, including breeding, product development and production, take place globally with close integration between the headquarter office in Yokohama, Japan, offices in France, Netherlands and Denmark.
